G4 didn't like it, G3 did though
These will work, but it's a little inconsistent. My elitedesk 800 g3 runs on it fine, but my g4s won't and throw an error code even though the power supply is listed at the required wattage.

I had bought a HP EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini on eBay and the seller sent me the wrong power supply. This power supply is perfect.

NOT compatible with 90W EliteDesk 800 G5
I have 3 EliteDesk 800 G5s, one that is a 65W with a 9500T, and two with the 9600 processor that require a 90W adapter. After getting the first PSU and it working with the 65W 9500T version, I bought two more for the latter, thinking it would work (especially because this says it will work). Unfortunately, the 90W computers test the power supply and it fails to boot, reporting an issue with the power supply. It technically could be the computer, but I doubt it as both new PSUs support the first computer fine, and none of the three will power either of the 2 90W machines.Unfortunately for me, I already threw away the packaging to try to keep everything tidy, so I can't return the two I really don't need anymore.

It's OK but won't work for all EliteDesk 800
I bought this for my EliteDesk 800 G4 but it just beeps indicating bad power. I tried on my 800 G3 and it works fine. This is odd because both of these PCs are 65Watt. Your mileage may vary depending on your model.
