It works!
Best 8 dollars I spent saved me hours I looked for 2 days for the leak couldn’t find it I used this and found it almost immediately and I would of never found it cause it was on the back of the valve cover the gasket has failed after 65 years.

Game changer. You need this.
I had a mysterious oil leak on my side by side leave a puddle. Hard to tell where it came from, because I changed all the fluids and the oil was clear/clean. The engine was gritty and sticky. All kinds of possible areas where it might be leaking. I had visions of my engine being ruined in my head and hours of investigating to do.I heard about this product. You just put a little bit in your oil and run the engine. Then, shine a UV light(not included, but they sell UV flashlights) and the area leaking glows bright neon yellow. This works great! My issue ended up being weaping line off the water pump. I never would have checked there! I also got the peace-of-mind confirmation that all the other gaskets and seals were tight. It works great, especially in dark engine bays…because the dye glows like black light paint. It’s not subtle. It glows under the UV light. Cleans up with brake cleaner and a rag for future testing.I don’t know what I did without this. I’m telling everybody about this now.

Clean engine and mix with fresh oil before using
The media could not be loaded. For better success than me:1) Highly suggest cleaning oils and sludge off engine before using.2) Don't pour dye straight into engine.- Mix it into fresh oil and pour into engine. Ideally drain all oil and pour in fresh oil with dye into engine/3) Don't drive after pouring in dye.My mistakes:1) very very very dirty engine due to persistent leak for 7 years. Very hard to find the leak. Not sure I even found it exactly yet.2) pouring dye into 500mL fresh oil and pouring into 3-4quarts of 5000 mile old oil in the engine already.- the oil was so dirty that the dye ended up looking like a light snot green color instead of vibrant yellow.- better to drain old oil and mix in dye into fresh oil and fill engine.3) don't drive after putting dye in else you will have dye all over the place, which isn't helpful when it already hard to see the dye due to 1 and 2 above.

Found my oil leak!
I finally found my oil leak using this product. The only downside is you need a special UV light to even see it. Very cheap too! But other than that 100% would recommend for oil leaks.

This stuff is great
Crazy that I didn't know about this stuff a long time ago. Within. 2 seconds I saw the glow in the oil leak after I started my car. I didn't even know there was a cooler sandwiched between the filter and the block until I saw that glow in the black light

"Dye"-ing to try this stuff
Worked perfectly to help find a leak in one of the injectors on my Kubota tractor. I had been smelling raw diesel fuel and seeing some wet spots on the garage floor. Easy to use. Added dye, ran tractor for 10 minutes, used my ultraviolet flashlight and yellow tint shooting glasses to easily find the leak around the #3 injector. Make sure you turn off all lights except the ultraviolet, and dye shows as a nice, bright whitish-yellow. For under ten dollars it was well worth the money.
