Data Communications and Networking 5th Edition

Well written, with supplementary material online. I'm using this as a text for a course I'm taking in Network Security. The author presents topics in a somewhat iterative fashion - with introductory descriptions of topics in early chapters and detailed discussions of the topics in later chapters.

I really enjoyed how the book started from beginning and explained it like a story that captures readers attention. Often asking questions first to spark interest and then answering them. Well done.

Very interesting bookIt is easy to understand and well organized.Contains a lot of information for me.

This was a required book for my first 3 classes of my Telecommunications program at GMU. It definitely goes into some heavy stuff, yet explains it in a simply easy to read style. Definitely a good technical book.

I needed this book for a networking class and therefore i am reviewing it as such. I found the book rather dry and difficult to read through, very little hands on or practical knowledge and too much theoretical content. I would advise non students to avoid this book and go for a different book altogether, perhaps Network+!

This book is really indef. it does get a lolityle hazy when reading sometimes but that just because you’re still learning.

Good textbook; complex content but explained as straightforward as it can be. In good condition.Note; AMERICAN VERSION. NOT INTERNATIONAL. In my case, that was what I wanted.
