This is a game-changer item. If you make garlic bread, sauté any greens with garlic, or put garlic on Pizza, and want fresh, spicy, juicy garlic paste for any reason, you will love this item.It cleans extremely easily, it is sturdy, fast, and ergonomic. There is a tiny learning curve but once you've used it a few times it saves a ton of time and "expresses" garlic flavor extremely well (actually in some ways this is the "espresso" maker of garlic prep). It is one of the best small $ items I've ever bought.

As a press, it's a five star device. I've had other garlic presses with a multi hinge "bucket" that always trapped pieces of garlic and was a pain to clean. This is very sturdy and super easy to clean. The reason for the two star deduction is because it's peeling. No, not garlic bulbs although it is doing that. The finish is peeling. My hands look like they spent the night rubbing against "Misty", the "dental hygienist student" at the local gents club.
