Excellent item. I have had a different brand before and went to a lower price one this time.It works exactly as it says and I am very pleased with the Halogen oven.

This might be one of my best Amazon purchases ever. I bought it to use whilst Motorhoming in France and it's been incredibly useful - I've cooked moussaka*, a salmon & spinach gratin and chips in it so far. It's very lightweight and compact and low voltage so it doesn't trip the electrics on French campsites. Saves on gas and you can use it outside to avoid making the motorhome boiling hot in warm weather. And it has a 3 year guarantee! Amazing!*NB well worth spending a fiver on silicone liners.

As an oven it is great; very efficient, I don't pre heat I just put the food in and it cooks to expected time.I had one of these years ago, can only assume it eventually stopped working.It is big but does not take up that much more counter space than an air fryer.Over recent years I bought an air fryer which I find is great for small to medium sized food quite efficiently, I also purchased a slightly smaller one again ideal for a quick cooking of small items.As we approached Christmas 2024 I decided to by this instead of an hairdryer as I was doing a goose and large beef joint along with all the extras.I do have a fitted oven and a combi microwave all have there uses for various foods, this purchase was as expected a great extra meaning I could cook all things at on time without having to juggle for space.What I don't like about this product is the lid stand - dangerous when removing during cooking as the lid has to be placed on the stand backwards.I also find the extended ring to be too flimsy, sometimes it or the lid fit okay another time the lid slips inside the extended ring - again this is dangerous when ring and lid are very hot (never had this issue with my original one).The tongues are as I remembered okay but the barely grip so hold on tight.I recently bought a circular mesh tray (meant for allowing pizzas to cook the base as well as the top) this is great for this product as it provided more area for the items you are cooking and food can not drop through when turning, it fits a treat with a slight allowance all around so it does not touch the glass.

As someone who has previously owned a halogen oven for over ten years, I would say the inclusion of a stand to rest the lid/top is very important. If you are cooking something in the oven and just want to turn an item over to do the other side. it can be tricky doing it with one hand if the other hand is holding the top. With the stand this problem is solved. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU KEEP THE LID/TOP ON THE STAND UNTIL IT IS COLD.This way you will avoid getting condensation in the oven. The lid/top metal area around the heating element will eventually rust if condensation happens regularly. If you were to cook a shepherds pie for instance and you inadvertently leave it in the oven after the cooking time is finished you will soon see the condensation around the glass bowl. You can also see it when using the cleaning operation. My previous halogen oven was still working but I have scrapped it because I was getting a sprinkling of rust debris falling on to the food and baking tray. It was hard to actually see it on the food but was visible on the baking tray. It looked as if I had used a pepper mill on the baking tray. The stand may appear a bit flimsy but will hold the lid/top when you carefully place it in it. You can buy ovens with a hinged lid/top but they are more expensive and not as easy to clean the bowl .

The media could not be loaded. First use : the lid shattered under the heat, while cooking. Glass all over the food. Lucky there was no one or no child near when it exploded.As I has the device before, I would say I had a faulty one. Nevertheless, better safety checks should be done.

Ideal for our motor home .

Very good. I rarely use anything else now.
