Best headlight I’ve tried
I don’t normally bother with reviews but felt the need on this occasion.I work a lot in the dark, so over the years have tried around 30 different head torches.I need ones that give a broad light in the immediate area rather than the long distance spotlight type. This LT-K88 model is the best I’ve ever used. Not only does it produce an outstanding light output but is also very comfortable and balanced. The battery lasts a good while and the crush proof carry case it comes with is a welcome bonus. Will be ordering a spare one for sure!

Great. Also suitable for caving
Since carbide lamps have been phased out, I’ve always been acutely aware of a shortcoming of LED units, namely an intensely lit area surrounded by near-darkness. This headlamp gives a bright, diffuse glow with a very pleasant daylight feel. It lasts up to six hours when fully charged – enough for most underground trips. It has been tested multiple times, with other cavers commenting favourably the quality of lightings.Caveats:A) It withstood really well normal dripping and occasional impacts, but it might not be suited for strenuous, very wet trips. The charging port is in an exposed position: the battery unit is generously wrapped in PVC tape before the trip, and this has worked well so far. Do you own testing and figure out if this setup suits your needs before embarking on anything serious.B) The headlamp is not designed to be attached to a caving helmet: the best setup must be worked out on a case-by-case basis and reverting to factory state will be impossible. Mine had to be modified by sawing away unnecessary parts and drilling holes.I’ve bought a second one, which is used for night hiking. Superb – the feeling of walking surrounded by a warm bubble of light is just awesome.

Broad and bright beam but is vulnerable to accidental damage.
There is a wide beam from this lamp, which makes situational awareness at the periphery very easy. The light can be reduced for longer battery life, and still gives a useful amount of light. The lithium batteries that are included have kept the lamp running for over an hour's use. I wish it had been clearer which way to insert them though as because I couldn't see any clear marking on the battery compartment I inserted the second one the wrong way causing a huge discharge and the spring contact melted. I was able to bodge a repair and it worked fine after that. When not wearing the lamp I stuffed it into a coat pocket to keep on me, and the electrical lead connecting the battery box to the lamp box got damaged while I was taking it out of the pocket... Which means until I get to work with the soldering iron that its stopped working. Otherwise a great head lamp.

Early impressions very good.
For the money, I'm highly impressed. It arrived in a sturdy & smart looking travel case, which my daughter has claimed for her Nintendo Switch as it fits perfectly. The time itself feels like quality & the light itself was bigger than expected which I'm happy about, in my job I need as much light as possible.I fitted the 3 size 18650 supplied and put it on charge which took quite a while but this will translate into long battery life which is lacking in most comparable units these days.Once fully charged the brightness was off the charts, which I'm definitely happy about.Early impressions are very good, I'll follow if needed as time goes on.

Excellent light for working in poor light conditions.
This is a great light for working in poor light. Its a good fit, and fine to use for working, but I would question if it is good for walking etc as the batteries add some weight. Not too bad but I don't think I would want to wear it for hours and hours if out walking for example. The case is good, but again its not small so if intending to carry it then this needs to be considered.Recommended with a slight concern for the weight.

Battery life so-so, light emitted so so, not particularly comfortable.
It's not bad for the price, but I attempted to use it for one if its' stated purposes (worklight).Light emitted - Plus points - the light source is wider than normal head torches, Minus points- light intensity somehow not that amazing,Battery life - apparently 6 hours, mine hasn't managed that on low (and low is quite dim). For a work light, ok for small jobs.Comfort - not amazing - it's a curved solid piece of plastic which either fits your head or doesn't. In my case it doesn't. Less comfortable than a normal head torch. It's ok, but if you actually need a work headlight, I don't think it's bright enough, comfortable enough or has enough battery lift.

Much brighter than expected and convenient with rechargeable batteries included
The media could not be loaded. When I took this up hiking I was in the mountains for about 90 minutes straight and had no issues with my battery running low on me.The light is so bright that when I turned it off for a second my eyes had to completely readjust so I could see anything around me.The package includes the headlight, micro-usb cable for charging and three 4200 mah 18650 Li-ion batteries. It also appears the batteries are in parallel, which makes sense since that would allow a longer run time and the 3.6v is all you need to run the LED.The flood pattern is the best I've seen. I can light up my whole yard. On low setting I've worked on hard to see projects and even painted indoors to better see brush lines. This is the best hradlamp I've owned so far!

Tim nice but very DIM
If I could give -5 stars I would. The whole point of a head torch is to illuminate, this illuminates but in a very dim fashion.I have a few cheap £5 head torches which are now old and failing, but they still offer a much brighter light than this thing which only really is bright for around a couple of metres at best and then dims incredibly, so much so that that couple of times I've tried it, I've gotten lost on my morning dog walks as you can't see far enough, you end up walking looking at your feet, it's that bad.The product itself other than the light appears to be of decent quality, but as it's primary function is as a torch/light, overall it fails horribly.
