I bought this globe because I wanted something that would be functional and at the same time could be put on display. The globe's base is wood which gives it a sturdy and antique look. It looks way more expensive than it is. The seller is selling this super cheap. I would recommend it to everybody!!

While I am happy with the feel of materials used, the globe itself is not accurate. The latitudes don't match, as the printed segments don't align properly. Because of this, many names of places are cut, or the word itself is too mis-aligned to read. I am wondering if its hand assembled and a replacement will ensure a better piece or most pieces will come with this flaw.

It's well build, good quality material but maps are little misaligned and thats not a problem for me as I bought it as a show piece. I think it's a bit expensive though.

Workmanship not good.. paper lapsed.. I won't suggest if it has to be used for educational purpose..It would be best if time taken for pasting properly

The latitudes and longitudes are terribly out of place. They don't meet on the other side. There is a small piece at the top and bottom, which can be used to look at time zones. However, they are not tight in their place. So, they are useless.

Both ends of the globe are not fixed well, wobbly at best. And simplest things like aligning of borders not done right, 2 mm gap on Alaska/Arctic circle, C of Canada gone. Poor craftmanship. Not thinking of returning as I bought for kids play, otherwise poor.

Proof of the pudding lies in eating! At the look of it on website, this looks a nice piece of art. The wooden finish is actually good and gives a authentic look. But the globe detailing as such is poor. The grid lines across the globe are not aligned and thus reduces the actual use of the globe. If you want to keep it at a distance and please your eyes, its good. Dont think of putting this to use..

The globe is good with some minor faults. The lines of latitude do not meet correctly at some places. But it almost serves the purpose of a globe. Price should be a little lower.
