MOSSY OAK GRAPHICS Breakup Infinity 14004-BI Shot Gun Camo Kit Vinyl

This was my first attempt at camo wrapping anything. I have an old and fairly worn Anshutz .22 semi auto rifle which i wanted to camouflage for hunting. It is a small firearm compared to the semi auto shotgun that the wrap is designed for and so I knew I would have excess material to trim. I found the You Tube video, " Mossy Oaks graphics rifle install" very useful even though it was a little vague in parts. You will need a very sharp blade like a craft knife, scalpel or razor blade and a hair drier for a heat source. The wrap is so responsive to heat that a DIY heat gun could be too much if you are not careful. I found it necessary to have a quiet room, clear space and a gun rest to work on. The wrap goes on very easily but I must admit to a few wrinkles around the compound curves of stock, pistol grip and comb. It took me a couple of hours as I separated the action and barrel from the stock/forend. I found that I had plenty left over to wrap the suppressor that goes with the rifle which was a great bonus.I think it was an expensive item compared to its purchase price in the USA and it was shipped from the States.

I bought this to wrap my Beretta AL390. I watched the instructional videos on YouTube before purchasing to get an idea of how difficult it would be to wrap my gun. I went into this knowing it was going to take some time, possibly an hour or two. I started with the stock and right away knew this was going to be a two hour project. It's not that it's difficult to wrap the gun or work with the material, it just takes time lining things up and working the material around the edges, and at the same time making sure there are no bubbles or creases. I used a heat gun and that really helped. I don't think it would have been possible without the heat gun (or a hair dryer). A hair dryer should also work as it should get hot enough to warm up the material.The videos mention you can easily adjust the wrap if you need to. I found this to be true, especially on the buttstock where it took a few attempts to line things up properly for fitment. I was worried that once the wrap stuck to the stock it would be difficult to remove to adjust but that was not the case. Apply a little heat to it and it pulled right off. I did use scissors to trim a few pieces and a box knife for trimming along the lines.I went into this with low expectations thinking one little mistake on my end would ruin the project or material, but honestly it was a pretty easy job and your chances of messing up a low. You still need to take your time, especially when cutting. Do not rush, be patient, and you will transform your gun. There might be some people out there that can wrap their gun in under an hour, but plan for about 2 hours. The finished product looks amazing and i'm so happy I decided to give this a try. I was thinking about purchasing a new shotgun that comes from the factory with camo, but this saved me a lot of money and looks just as good.

Amazing product! If you're tired of how your gun looks and you want a makeover that's not permanent and want something fun then this is your ticket. This will make any gun looks like new. I put this on an air rifle and after I was done I still had enough left over for another hand pellet gun and a Boker magnum folder knife. Wow! does this ever make things look great. It makes you want to put camo on everything. LOLVery realistic graphics and its of thick plastic stretchy quality and nice tackiness to stick onto almost anything. The nice part is you can remove the camo graphics and use again. If you follow instructions you won't have any issues, and what ever you put this on will not only look good, it will stay on without peeling.A great improvement would be this camo wrap with some texturing, so its not so glossy to the touch, and has some grip.

Like others said this took me a while to put on my gun. About two and a half hours. But it is worth taking your time. I made sure to clean my gun off first before installing. The barrel was probably the hardest part because of the vented ribs in the top of it. The stock was slightly tricky too with the curves at the grip but with heat it made the process a lot easier. Also once the vinyl is applied use your heat source and while heating it rub the vinyl into the area. It will pick up the texture of that part and give it more grip. So make sure you don't rush it and have a heat source such as a hair drier or heat gun ready and your gun will turn out great. Awesome product.
