The amount of beta-carotene in Companion is not a high dose. However, we also have a Companion that is beta-carotene free for those that want to avoid it all together. A caplet is a combination of a capsule and tablet, so it's hard. The Viteyes Multivitamin AREDS 2 Companion caplets are easy to swallow.

Q: can this be a stand alone product if im trying to find a multivitamin without vitamin c?
