I love these - they are so easy to use. Before I was using a measuring cup, and really cramming the bath bomb stuff down into them and then releasing them. Yes, it worked, but they didn't look very nice and they certainly weren't giftable. Here is what I can tell you after a round of using these:1) they will take some time to get used to. This is neither a pro, nor a con...it simply is. like a lot of things sometimes technique simply takes time. That's ok. Make your first several sets over a large bowl so you don't waste a lot and get frustrated.2) these allow you to make a really nicely shapped ball. Be sure to press in a lot of material, but these work very easily and the ball shape is nice and smooth! They look great!3) the 3 different sizes is a great feature. I love it.4) the bath bombs released very easily in my experience. it was truly just a case of remove one side, and then place in palm of hand and remove other side. Voila - done!Cons:1) I have no cons, honestly. It is a very simple product, so it is fairly simple to get right. They came in perfect, new condition. No dents or other issues. Nothing to complain about!All in all I am excited to make bath bombs with my daughter for her teachers this Christmas. Should be very fun!!!

These worked perfectly... and it was my first attempt. They did exactly what they were designed to do. Would recommend to everyone. I would like to address the 1-stars though. Every complaint I read were user error, not a product defect. I have seen directions of leaving them to dry in the molds and others have said to remove them after a minute or so and let them dry outside of the mold. I removed mine from the mold to dry. No problem. If they are not coming out of the mold then they are packed too tight. I scooped up each half with a little more than they would hold. If they went together too easily, I removed one half of the mold and scooped up a little more. When it was slightly hard to get the two halves together... I stopped. I did have one ball come out in half. I took a spray bottle with water and sprayed a few mists and stirred the mix. It was drying out. Solved. As for bending too easily... user error. These are more than sturdy enough and would only bend with excessive force. As for balls not coming out... user error. A light tap with a spoon or tapping with a finger will make the top come right off. And as for the person claiming that their bath bombs came out like melting ice cream... BIG user error. That has nothing to do with the product. That's an incorrect recipe execution or just a bad recipe. Having 3 sizes to choose from is a big plus too. Folks... these do exactly what they are supposed to do; are made well and when used CORRECTLY - they are well worth the price!

The molds work great and are easy to use. The bags you have to be careful with, I used my straighter on the lowest setting and sealed the bag for 1-2 seconds and then used a blow dryer to shrink the bag. They didn't look perfect but they got the job done. Also be careful not to heat one area too long with the blow dryer or you will begin to soften the bath bomb due to the coconut oil inside. Pictured below is when I used the straightener and after I have used the blow dryer.

These molds were very easy to use. The only problem I encountered was the instructions on the back do not give measurements for the ingredients. I ended up buying a kit that contained the bisodium carbonate mixture along with a separate bag of citric acid. I used soap coloring so it won't dye skin, and to make it interesting, I used an apple scented liquid soap scent. I followed the directions on the packaging for the mix and used these molds to create my bath bombs. I ran into no problems with these. The mixture came right out and they are the perfect size. With the number of molds you get in the box and the fact you only need to use 1 mold of each size at a time, this could easily be bought and used for a girls' night or spa party for your guests to make their own to take with them!

These are great for making bath bombs. Layer different color/scents and look like snow cones when the come out.Pack them to over full .. then press together twisting (over bowl) and excess will fall out. Put in the freezer for @ 30 min.When you remove, warm the the ball in your hands, then carefully twist one side until it lifts off.YOU MUST USE COCONUT OIL for bath bombs to set up, citric acid is what makes them fizz + baking soda + epsom salt, and add cornstarch and/or cream of tartar if you want them to be harder.

I bought these as a gift for a family member for Christmas. She wanted to upgrade from her cheap plastic molds to nice metal molds. The bags that came with the set are great, but the molds themselves leave much to be desired. Her recipes worked just fine in the plastic molds, but no matter what she does, the end result with the metal molds is always the same: the molds dent very easily and the mixture sticks to the molds despite many different alterations to her recipes.

These molds are pretty great. I find my bath bombs come right out without having to tap them, which is good because they're fragile molds. One mold took an 18" fall off my coffee table and dented on impact. There's 4 of each size included, so I'm not worried as long as the rest don't follow suit.The bags, however, are garbage. They tear easily, don't seal correctly, and the one I managed to get to seal and shrink was horribly misshapen by then end. I've bought another set of bags and had the same results. I've switched to cellophane.

The molds are great and work very well. The shrink bags do not shrink at all. Customer service was no help, they never answered my email. Had to send them back.
