I bought this with the thought I would put it on the wall and not the window. But it didn’t really work for me that way so I did put it on the window in the room where her litter box stays. She liked to get in that windowsill so I thought she would like this seat. I liked that it was boho looking and it is really cute. She’s less than ten pounds so I haven’t had any trouble with her being too heavy for it. She does like to play with the handles and the strings and just really has a ball on it! Lol so she really loves it. She goes in there and sits on it all the time. Only thing I have had an issue with is the handles came unraveled on one side and it fell down so I had to get my sewing kit out and sew everything up really tight so it didn’t do that again. So I would watch out for that if you buy this

Update: 3 years after purchasing it finally stretched too far. This is the best little platform for cats ever. It is very sturdy, and was easy to put on the window!

My cat spends most of her day on this window bed! She loved it so much that I bought two of them for different rooms. She rubs on the straps and plays with the strings hanging down. She’ll lay in it and watch the outside for hours at a time. It not only looks aesthetically pleasing but it serves as a place to relax and play for my sweet girl!The only downfall is the suction cups the window bed comes with didn’t last long (why I only rated it 4 stars) so I used other suction cups I knew would last off amazon. A cheap upgrade to the product and well worth it.This window bed is a definite must buy!

Got it, set it up with easy directions, and both our cats love having a window napping spot. Super cute to boot. One cat that’s a bit chunkier made us have to lift the upper suction cups up a bit cause his weight would did the bed a bit outward, but it hasn’t fallen once and stayed up strong.

I have a 6 month old kitten and she loves this window hammock! I installed this in November and the suction cups are still going strong! My kitten has grown and wieghs about 5 lbs now and it holds up very well. The material is very tight fitted so the ledge is very firm and not loose. I like the decorative strings because you can use them to tie the hammock up if you need to close your blinds.

Suction cup broke and can not get a hold of customer service!

My cats love this window hammock! I even went so far as to buy a bird feeder and put it about 10 foot away from the window. The birds are unaware of the cats, but the cats get to watch bird TV all day.This is sturdy too! One of our cats weighs about 16 pounds. Sometimes we have to help her up, but even when she musters the strength to jump up on the hammock, it holds her and hasn't come apart or come away from the window.This was a great purchase!In my pic, the fat cat was on the couch and the thin cat is on the hammock.

It looked great, but fell off three times in the first few days. Our cat wasnt too jazzed about that...Finally the material tore around the metal suction spot.
