I waited a few weeks before reviewing it. And found this collar has been really great! I'm very happy with it and it works better than expected.We adopted an adult rescue beagle that had no idea if the boundaries of our large unfenced yard. He runs super fast and was very hard to control. We put up a few little flags and used them as well as trees, etc as boundary markers. We walked him around the yard on leash for 2 weeks using the collar to give warning beeps when he crossed the line, and saying no. After 3 weeks he can run around the yard for hours and never leaves the property, front or backyard. He will literally walk the property line and never cross it. We used the shock setting a total of 3 times on level 2 out of 16. The dog gets super excited whenever we bring out the collar because he knows he'll be free to run around. My husband tried the shock setting on himself and says the lower levels aren't painful at all. Just uncomfortable and annoying. No problems with it working or charging.

DO NOT PURCHASE...DANGEROUS ITEM THAT CAN HURT YOUR DOG!!! After carefully reading instruction manual and charging as instructed, I took my pup outside for his first training session. Within seconds of putting the collar on it started shocking him uncontrollably!! I wasn't touching any of the action buttons on the controller...I couldn't get it to stop! I had to restrain my poor dog to get it off of him while it is was still shocking him. The worst part is that he was afraid of ME for hours after this event (guess because I put the collar on him). I was and still am devastated that this happened to my poor puppy. This experience has also probably ruined any future hopes of being able to train my dog with a reputable training collar. I am also disappointed in Amazon for associating themselves with such a poor quality, dangerous product. I'd give this a negative 1 rating if I could. I also found it odd and a little sketchy that the product comes in a box that does not have the company's brand name printed anywhere- not even on the instruction manual-all completely generic. For the record I also read all of the reviews before purchasing this product...now I believe they are fake too. VERY DISAPPOINTING AMAZON!!!

I have a very bouncy, brutish, Briard who at 6 years old, still needs to be reined in from some slight anti-social behavior [bit of head humping to smaller dogs, excessive pulling, jumping, walking into you, selective hearing, toy/sock stealing] and his stubborness to do as he is told, because he 'wants to do what he wants to do'...I have used the spray collars before, but to avail as he liked the spray after a while and had no effect anymore, and he stank of citronella.This is a great device, easy to set up and use! I was sceptical of the vibration on his neck/throat but, it really wasnt as I expected, a little gentle and all I can imagine is a slight tickle to the dog rather than anything severe... the beep is more of a quick distraction to get them to forget what they were going to do and listen - I have tied the training with this collar in with treat reward too. Well worth the buy and a try and cheaper than a lot of other products out there.We are now more socially accepted as a pair and he gets a lot more invitations to family members homes than he did before, so if it can work on my dog, it will work on yours!Was also very pleased with the freebie of the safety dog light which he wears proudly at night!

I loved it! Worked great. Got it march 22 now may 12 and it has a small rattle inside & wont work. Hoping there is a warranty & can exchange as it worked great in the short 6 weeks we used it. Waiting for seller to respond to question if can exchange. If I didn't have to return it I'd give it 5 stars.

Has worked great for us and our family dog. Have only had to use the shock feature just a few times on low and now she responds great to the tone feature of the collar. Use it every day so far for the past month with no issues.

This broke after we had purchased it and started using it after about a month. Other than that big issue, we liked it.

worked very well once I figured it out the only thing I did not like was you have to replace the battery all the time so if you buy this product buy lots of extra batterys.

I bought a product earlier and was having trouble with the Nick levels on the collar and without even asking they sent me a new model to replace the defective one, very happy with the results.
