I have a hound dog that needs to have several walks/runs a day regardless of the weather. This keeps my hands super warm, holds a charge for a long time, and is very durable even when dropped repeatedly.

i'll give it 5 stars because it works well, and the battery life is very good. it's also nice to have a way to charge your phone in a pinch, but keep in mind it is a low amperage charge, and you're better off using a dedicated usb battery cell for charging devices.the description is a little misleading, as there are 2 versions of this item you may get. the version 1 displays the battery life in percentage, version 2 displays battery life in bars. scroll down the product page for info. i got version 2 on the first order, then i ordered a second one, which was also a version 2.imo, better to get a 10000mah warmer, instead of lesser mah versions.

I've purchased a few different handwarmers in the last few years, this is easily my favorite. My favorite thing about this is how even the heat is and how long it lasts. Some of the others I have purchased actually get too hot on the lowest setting and burn through the battery way too fast. I like the power button and the battery life display, simple to use and great information. I've used it as a backup battery to charge a phone and it was fine for that. This unit costs a little more than the others but in my opinion it's worth spending a little more to get a better product.

This is undoubtedly my favorite hand warmer. It three levels are well thought-out and, if you need to recharge your phone, it has at least 3 times the charge that your phone needs.

Bought as I wanted a little heater for my hoodie pocket when I'm out fishing. The chemical ones don't work all that well and the ones powered by lighter fluid make me nervous. The first full charge took a while, thought I might have gotten a bad one. Took all night to charge from 14% to full charge. Was great when I used it. Even on the first setting it worked great, to the point where I actually had to turn it off. Starts to noticeably warm within a minute or two. Once it had been charged fully once it charged much quicker. The case is just black, not the nifty two tone. heavy duty with some weight to it, most likely aluminum. The interface is easy to understand. You plug it in, it reads the current battery level and ticks upward as it charges. Apparently you can charge other appliances with it but I haven't tried that yet. Used it on first setting for about an hour and a half and it went down to 80% battery so it's conceivable to get 6-8 hours out of it before it has to be charged again. So far so good.

Pros1. It gets hot. Very hot.2. It charges on the new USB type.Cons1. It does NOT last anywhere near the time claimed. I got maybe an hour out of it after I got the charge to 100%. The battery drains very quickly when you are holding it. When you set it on a table and don't touch the battery loses charge much less quickly. My best guess is that when you're holding it it takes more energy to keep it warm - thus draining the battery much more quickly. The times they claim may be accurate if you never touch it but that's not the point of this. If you hold it, as I said before, expect about an hour on LEVEL one heat. When you're holding it seems to activate heat on the whole device. The parts your touching are just warm enough but the parts you aren't get very hot - painful hot.2. The one I got did not come with a cord handle even though it's plastered everywhere that one is on the product.3. The thing feels super fragile. If you grasp it too tight you hear crunchy sounds like the plastic is very weak.

Works ok but the charging ports are a loose and you really have to stay on top of it to make sure it’s charging. Could just be the ones I received but it’s worth mentioning. I haven’t used the heater portion yet.
