Quality Product and Great Upgrade- Allows for Versatility, Makes Higher Cadence More Accessible!!!
These pedals are GREAT. After three months of enjoying my JorotoX2 spin bike with the standard OG pedal (Toe cage, no SPD), I decided I really wanted to get clip in shoes/pedals.When I was trying to figure out whether I should upgrade the pedals, I remember that I had a hard time deciding between the many spd/cage combo pedal options. I couldn't visualize what the differences were, and if it was worth the money to upgrade it. I tried to take as many pictures comparing the two pedals. The original pedal is color coded RED in my photos and this upgraded combo SPD pedal is color coded BLUE. I hope this helps someone!I am not an expert in bikes/bike maintenance, but these were very easy to swap out (just remember the left pedal unscrews backwards!). The platform on this pedal is actually flat, which makes it so much more comfortable to use than the OG Joroto X2 pedals. It is also a bit larger, which makes it feel more secure. (SEE PHOTOS). Honestly, I'd recommend upgrading the OG pedals to these, even if you aren't ready to invest in clip-in shoes yet! Definitely a worthwhile, affordable upgrade!!The SPD clip in side works smoothly. I have two roommates (one of whom is a bike expert) and he told me that these are quality pedals! The best part is that two of us can use the clip in side, and the third roommate (who didn't want to invest in SPD cleat shoes) can still comfortably use the bike! (Also, because I had to look it up when I was trying to upgrade my pedals - this pedal size is a standardized size, and fits all standard spin bikes, NOT JUST JOROTO-brand BIKES!!!)I am definitely still improving my spinning technique, but the clip in shoes definitely makes higher cadence (100+) intervals so much easier to achieve and maintain during streaming spin classes (peloton app). Focusing on "painting the floor" versus "pushing down" allows for more and different muscles to contribute!PROS:-flat platform pedal is more comfortable-large platform pedal is more secure-All black design looks more attractive on bike IMO-SPD allows for higher cadence and better pedaling technique-Combo SPD/Toe Cage/Standard platform allows for versatility for many users-AffordableCONS:None.**Note: I waited two weeks after installing these pedals, using them almost every day, to write this review! Great Quality Product, and worthwhile upgrade**

Pedals work well on Joroto x2 Bike
I installed Joroto SPD pedals on Joroto x2 indoor bike. It was very easy to install with a ranch. Very sturdy with wider pedal footing than the default pedal that comes with the bike. The ability to ride with both regular shoes and cleated cycling shoes is a great option for both serious or casual riders. Has a solid connection with the cleats as well as enough space for a comfortable ride when riding on sneakers. Extremely happy with the choice! Not to mention a friendly and supportive Joroto team!

Upgrade for Higher Cadence
Ordered these pedals when I ordered my Joroto X2 bike. Pretty easy to install- left pedal didn't go on quite as easily even though I made sure to take notice of which way it needed to be threaded. Definitely enjoying the clip in side of the pedals, makes it much easier to get to a higher cadence. Only problem I am having is not being able to clip out completely when ride is done. It's like it is stuck and I have to try several times to get clip loose. I'm using Shimano clips. Just wondered if anyone else was having these issues.

Great For Adding SPD Clipless to Any Spin Bike with Standard Threads.
Added these pedals to be able to clip into my Joroto XM16 Spin Bike and they are perfect! Installation went smoothly and what I like about these is there is both a flat platform side with a toe cage for regular sneakers on one side, and SPD clipless on the other. The SPD tension is also adjustable, so you can fine-tune your connection to the bike. The textured rubber pad on both sides of the pedal help to provide a very secure feel. Great design and adjustability and overall a high quality product!

Love clipping in to spin!
I have been using these pedals for a few weeks. Wanted to use for a while before leaving a review to test durability.Don't hesitate to get these!! I have a Joroto X2 and love the bike as is but now that I can "clip in" my spin classes are so much better! I don't get tired as quickly and am excited to follow along a class I put on my tv.These pedals are easy to install. It took me about two minutes. I did need to install the cleats on my shoes twice but that was for my own personal comfort level.Customer service from Joroto is quick and amazing if you have questions. They helped me choose these pedals over the others they offer. You won't be disappointed with these pedals.Happy spinning.

Great replacement pedals
These were better then expected considering they were not very expensive. I’m not handy at all but these were easy to install and I did it myself! Does not come with instructions or bike wrench (so be sure to get one). I googled installation instructions.

Cheap trash
Junk. Always was a struggle to clip in. You cant hear or feel when the cleats attach so I find myself constantly kicking the pedal to clipp in. Only after about 10 rides the cheap metal pedals were already damaged. I returned immediately.Spend a few more bucks and get a quauily product. This is not it!But the Joroto sking bike is amazing.

Worked Great But...
We replaced some old pedals that had worn out on our spin bike. We use it almost every day. The new pedals seemed sturdy, but we've only had them for about a month, and the metal on one of the clip-ins has already bent. You can't get your shoe to clip in anymore, so we already have to replace it. I would suggest spending a little more on a good pedal if you're looking for something that can handle the wear and tear.

Excellent quality
I love the quality of this SPD Pedals are an excellent choice. I specifically used them for my indoor exercise bike. These pedals also come with toe cages, clips, and straps to help keep your feet securely in place during your workout. The pedals are compatible with Shimano SPD cleat systems, which means you can use them with a wide variety of indoor cycling shoes. Just like the spinning bikes at the gym.Overall, I would highly recommend the JOROTO SPD Pedals for anyone looking to upgrade their indoor cycling experience. These pedals are a great choice for anyone looking to take their indoor cycling workouts to the next level.
