RockportMen's Style Leader 2 Bike Slip-On

Classic men's style. Good fit for somebody wearing a regular 10.5. Some arch support, nothing weird or tight. Feels like it will need 1-2 wearings to break-in, but more for the flexibility of the shoe.Interestingly the shoe itself is noticeably lighter than the almost identical Clarks style I usually wear. I like this style of shoe for wearing well with jeans for "looks nice" or with going out clothes for "dressed up". Versatile.The style name is odd for a dress shoe "Style Leader 2 Bike Slip-On".Have to see how this holds up over time, but good first impression.

Comparison of four shoes: I tried on the indicated sizes of the four shoes listed below – I had them all at home and compared them extensively. All four shoes were pleasant surprises in that I liked all of them very much and the first three were very inexpensive. The main differences in these black loafer-style shoes are small differences in style and fit. The Geox and “Bike” slip-on had defined heels, giving a somewhat dressier appearance; the others had molded soles/heels. The SAS shoe had a leather band across the front (where a penny loafer would have the penny band). One thing that I can’t comment on is how they will fit after a couple of months of use, but I suspect they will remain good. I confess that I kept one of each shoe – I expect that one or two of them will turn out to fit particularly well but can’t predict which those will be.1. Rockport Men's Palmer Venetian Loafer 12W, 13MComments. Loved these shoes. There is a small amount of elastic at the joint between the top and side of the shoe. Leather and fit very nice. The toe was flatter with more room than in the other three shoes. 12.5 was slightly too tight, so had to go with 13.4. SAS Men’s Ace slip on loafer13M, 13Narrow, 12.5W, 12.5N.Comments: I got these directly from the SAS company in New Orleans, but they also are on Amazon. SAS was fast and very helpful – I tried two sizes in one shipment and sent them back for two more sizes which were shipped immediately in exchange even before the first two were received back at the company. Because in the end I kept one size, all postage both ways (through the USPS) was free. I also love these shoes. They are a somewhat closer fit, but seem to fit very well. This particular style is somewhat more casual. There is more arch support and ventilation holes on the inner side.

I've been wearing the same shoe for 4 years now. I just keep reordering them. One, the style is neutral and two, they are so comfortable. I hope posting this doesn't shorten me when it comes time to reorder them.

Only giving 4 stars because either my foot has shrunk or they run a little big...supposed to be a 10 fits like a 10.5....other than that seems well made and is comfortable.

I was wary of buying shoes online because I have what used to be called Triple E feet, but that isn't a precise measurement on the Internet. Would extra wide be enough? I added a half inch just in case. Shoes are very nice, snug, but that is expected for new shoes, but got them on without too too much trouble without a shoehorn, walked in them for two miles with no discomfort at all. I have now ordered from Amazon a pair of shoehorns. Cheap plastic ones, but I assume I won't need to use them for long. It is just a little snug putting them on.

I really like these shoes. They're very comfortable with no areas that commonly rub. They seem pretty scuff resistant and they look nice. I wear these all day at work without any issues, which is rare for me when wearing dress shoes.

I got these for a friend a second pair now and he absolutely loves ithem.

Solid quality and a TRUE size and fit at 10.5 wide. Looks and feels comfortable and stylish. Seems solid for wear and time will tell.

The picture for the black shoe is incorrect - these are slip on shoes with no laces and are therefore not fit for purpose for me. Sad waste of my time and their money returning :-(

Excelente calidad

Rockport shoes had been my favorite shoe brand for decades. Even from Europe, it was worth the additional hassle to buy this typically American brand of shoe. When my old pair finally were worn out, I bought this pair, ignoring the existing negative reviews. That was my mistake.These shoes feel cheap. Really cheap. They look so-so but feel nothing like the Rockports that the company used to advertise as worthy of running a marathon in. Had I opened them within the return window, I would have sent them back, but alas, I had to eat the costs and dropped them in a second-hand clothing bin instead. Maybe someone else will be grateful for them.Did Rockport move all their factories off-shore to some horrible, cheap place? Did they decide that their shoes should feel like they were entirely made of plastic? I can't say. Whatever the reason, stay away.
