Braille and Sighted Educational Plastic Alphabet Tray, in Print and Braille for The Blind and Sighted and Blind in Mind

As someone who is visually impaired, I thought this product was GREAT! My guide dog and I go to schools and teach kids about service dogs and blindness. It is a great interactive tool to bring along. The kids love It! It is made of sturdy plastic and easy to clean!I highly recommend this, great for beginners as well!

I always wanted to learn Braille but never got the chance while I was working. I was born blind in one eye so there is always a doubt of me going blind in the back of my mind, so I am glad I purchased this product. It's easy and kind of fun to learn.

This was a disappointing purchase. I purchased for a child who has recently lost his sight. He can feel the braille letters and numbers. He however can't feel the actual letters.I'm having trouble finding a tablet like the one I had when I went blind. Mine had letters in raised felt above the braille counterpart.This can work for sighted who want to learn braille. Low vision may benefit, but some who are completely blind may not.

The plastic is a bit thin, but my visually impaired 4 year old like it and we use it to practice her Braille. Not the best quality but does the job.

The braille was too small for his hands - need a larger one I will continue to look - he was not able to use this one as he has caluses on his hands

I’m blind and trying to learn Braille . So far this is a good tool!

It is going to work for the use in my headstart class, but something bigger that I could put on the wall would be great. Maybe a laminated poster with the raised braille on it and big enough for toddlers to feel with their hands to see and feel how the blind communicate. If anyone knows of such a poster and where to get it please comment on this for me.

This is a good size. Both the Braille letters and the English letters are fully tactile: Braille is raised and English is recessed. I like that this learner also has the numbers, because quite a few of them only have the letters. Very happy with this. Can't wait to get learning.
