How slow can you go? Oh sooo slooow...
The tap looks great on our Royal Berkey, kinda matches it, big and thick. Unfortunately this is the only positive, the looks. When it comes to water flowing it is sooooooooo slow. You feel like you stand filling up the carafe for hours, same with large glass/cup. The flow is nice and steady, which would make it ideal for hot liquids, how water for tea, hot wine or cider etc because it won't splash or spill. If you want a fast flowing tap for water then this is not it. I had to replace it as the missus complained how long it was taking to fill up her water glass.I wish I did a video before removing it from the Berkey, to show how slow it was pouring water from a fully topped 12l container, where the pressure is quite high with that much water.The photo should show how narrow it is, which again, makes it ideal for hot liquids, but not good for the need of using it on a fast flowing container like our Berkey.
