We purchased these for a recent trip to Colorado. They were perfect and we used them all with no leaks. The only downside is that they are harder to wash than regular water bottles because they can't go in the dishwasher (although we washed the tops in the dishwasher with no issue). We washed them in soapy water and then set them in the sun to dry to reuse. No issues and definitely great for travel!Edit a few weeks later: Now that we're home, we're having trouble getting them to dry fully inside. If it's sunny out, we can usually set them out and get the inside dry but it's a struggle. Annoying. So, good for travel, bad for any long-time use.

Liked the product. Have used for a family hike with younger kids and came handy as there was no leaks plus was light weighted.Only downside is the detachable lid is hard to keep track of and have already lost couple of them. Thankfully it doesn't leak a lot without it. N ofcourse having numbers helps.Kids were tempted to drink due to its style and bright colors. No smell or after taste noticed

Have only used the product a few times so far. I like that water flows well tru the spout. Have tried it in my backpack and does not leak when spout is closed. It will stand on its own on a flat surface, however as you finish most the water it may not stand. When empty it flattens out so it doesnt take up much space. Took off one star because you really need to work to get 16 oz in the bottle. Is about 2 tablespoons short, not a lot but would have been better if it was slightly larger.

We bought these for a three day camp with kids ! They worked great!l kids could carry them easily with the clip and they held just the right amount of water for a hike. They wouldn’t work well for an extended period but for short adventures they were perfect. Camps, Birthday Events , field trips are a few places they would work great for. We had no tears or leaks. Our camp was three days for 8-11 year olds.

As long as you keep it upright the are ok.

I was very excited about these and still plan on using them but I am disappointed because they don’t actually hold 16oz of water. I would say it’s closer to 10oz

Leaked! We purchased these for a cruise. They are a good concept, we used them and were glad to have them, but I wouldn't recommend.Positives:- stays flat for luggage- water tastes good, no plastic tasteNegatives:- Half of them leaked- They didn't all leak the same way lol. Some leaked when they were turned upside down, some leaked when they were tilted even a little, some leaked when they were upright but there was some pressure put on them.

These were going to be a great solution for the kids in school, but unfortunately they leak where the plastic meets the lid section.
